Revive Superfoods Overnight Oats

When Revive Superfoods, my favorite smoothie delivery service, added overnight oats to their line up I was thrilled!

I’m always looking for ways to make mornings easier, and having fresh oatmeal in the fridge is a great place to start.

If you’re not familiar with “overnight oats”, it’s basically just a mix of oatmeal ingredients that’s been left to soak overnight in the fridge with your liquid of choice.

Water works just fine, but we like to add coconut or cashew milk for extra creaminess.

By the morning the oats have already softened and it’s ready to eat cold, or can be heated up on the stove or microwave.

It’s a great time saver, and gives the flavors a chance to mix so you’re guaranteed a delicious and nutritious breakfast, without a lot of prep.

But there is a downside to overnight oats.

If your evenings are busy (or you’re just plain forgetful) you may find yourself without breakfast.

It does take some time and planning to get the ingredients measured and mixed in advance, and when there’s 10 other things on the to-do-list, it’s tempting to skip it.

We do have a few favorite recipes I can whip up quickly, but we’ve definitely been stuck in an oatmeal rut for a while, and are ready to switch it up!

So here’s the solution.

I can now add convenient Overnight Oats to my usual smoothie order from Revive Superfoods, and it all arrives in one box (with FREE shipping).

You can read my full review of Revive Superfoods Smoothies, but too summarize, if you love smoothies (and not all the prep work) you NEED to try it!

The oatmeal arrives frozen in an insulated cardboard box surrounded with dry ice. It’s still completely frozen when they arrive, even on a hot day in the middle of August.

Each portion is individually packaged in a handy cup, so you can just top it up with the liquid of your choice and put it in the fridge before going to bed.

How easy is that?!

There’s currently 4 flavors to choose from: Pom-Orange, Carrot Spice, Banana Nut and Berry Patch.

My personal favorite is Carrot Spice, but Banana Nut is a close second.

The portion size is very generous and I often share one with my husband or save a serving for the following day.

With all the added superfood ingredients it’s VERY filling and keeps me going until lunch.

But what about the cost?

The Overnight Oats are priced the same as Smoothies, which makes it easy to mix and match.

Money Saving Tip: If you have the freezer space, go for a bigger order size and save up to 75 cents per cup. Just pause future deliveries until you’re ready to reorder again.

If you’re on a budget, you may need to make some adjustments to give this service a try (and be sure to use a coupon code).

We’ve found the extra cost has easily been compensated by not needing to grab expensive pre-packaged breakfast options on busy mornings.

Sometimes it’s important to factor in the value of convenience, health, and reducing stress!

So is Revive Superfoods right for you?

I’d recommend this service to anyone that loves the health benefits of oatmeal (or smoothies), and wants a quick and easy breakfast option.

Whether you’re busy with kids, a career, or just a packed schedule, this can really help to boost your nutrition to start the day (especially if you often find yourself opting for junk food).

Who might not benefit from it?

Despite how much we love this service, I would not recommend it people that fit into the following categories:

  • You’re completely broke. Instead, find an overnight oats recipe that uses basic, inexpensive ingredients and stick with that for now.
  • You have zero freezer space, for obvious reasons.
  • You don’t enjoy the taste of real oatmeal. These don’t taste like the powered, sugar filled, instant oatmeal from the grocery store.

Are you ready to give Revive Superfoods Overnight Oats try?

We’ve started adding them to our 24/month delivery, but they have lots of different choices to suit you needs.

I had the Cheery Cherry oatmeal. It was fast and easy… Tasted great the next morning. My problem is that I can’t really justify the expense.

Quick question? Do you keep everything frozen or do you defrost before adding the liquid?
